How it works

What is a Go Seattle Card?
  • A Go Seattle Card is an attraction pass that gets you into multiple attractions for one low price. It provides admission to 37 Seattle attractions.
  • A Go Seattle Card is like a theme park pass to the city: you can use it to get into as many attractions as you want.
How does a Go Seattle Card Work?
  • You will receive a physical card that will serve as your pass to all of our included Seattle attractions.
  • Simply present your card at any of the included attractions between 9:00am-5:30pm and get same day entry.
How do I get one?
  • Decide how many consecutive calendar days you want to sightsee in Seattle (what does consecutive days mean?)
  • Buy a pass for each person in your party.
  • Have your cards shipped or pick it up when you get there at one of our voucher redemption locations.
  • Enjoy a free guidebook included with each order to help plan your itinerary.
What’s the catch?

There’s no catch. Go Seattle Card has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to Seattle as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money.

Compare the price of the card to the retail prices of the attractions to see how much you can save. Many customers save more than 50%.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by consecutive calendar days?

The first time you visit an attraction, it will “activate” the calendar day countdown on your card.

For example, a 3-day card activated on a Monday will be valid on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It doesn’t matter what time you activate the card on the first day, so we suggest you start your day early.

How many days should I buy?

Most travelers visit between 2 and 3 attractions each day depending on individual preference. We suggest you count the number of attractions and divide by the number of days to get an estimate. Our most popular card is the 3-day card.

Is my card valid all day?

Your card is valid for daytime admission to attractions. This means that attractions cannot be visited after 5:30pm with the Go Seattle Card — so plan your day accordingly.

Can I visit the same attraction more than once?

In most cases, you can visit each attraction once per day. Some attractions are valid only once during the life of the card. Please reference your guidebook page for specific information on each attraction.

What is the age cut off for child tickets?

Child cards are for ages 3-12. Most attractions are free for children under 3.

Should I have my card shipped or should I pick it up?
  • Having your card shipped in advance will save you time traveling to a pick up location when you get there.
  • Transit times vary depending on shipping options. View shipping options.
  • If you don’t have time to wait for cards to ship, we will email you a voucher which can be exchanged for passes at one of our voucher redemption locations.
Where can I pick up my card once I get to the city?

View a list of locations where you can redeem your voucher.

Where can I buy the card once I get there?

View a list of sales locations in Seattle. Note that if we are running a web-only sale, the in-city sales locations will not be able to honor that sale price. In-city purchases are available at full price only.

Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?

Attractions that require a reservation will display this symbol on the guidebook page.

Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.

I still have questions!

Please feel free to call us at 866-628-9029 and we’ll be happy to help you!

Note: A Go Seattle Card is non-transferrable. This means that once you start using it, you are the only person who can use it to get into attractions. Go Seattle Cards may not be re-sold.

You should treat your Go Seattle Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, it cannot be replaced.

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

The Go Card ended up being fairly useful for myself and a group of friends on a trip to Seattle. We were fairly new to the town, so hitting all the tourist spots and museums was just perfect. However, when researching the card, which I did exhaustively, I didn't realize that some of the websites that listed the included attractions were obviously not up to date. Specifically, we had wanted to go on the Underground Tour, and when I looked it up, it was included (you can still find it if you google "Seattle underground tour" and "go card" together). When we got the guidebook, and eventually called the place, it was not part of the program. I was rather disappointed, given that it had been one of the three "must-see" sites on our list. Any site that advertises the card needs to be accurate to avoid this kind of experience. It should also tell you in the guidebook that you can use the pass for EACH event once every day. Luckily, with all my prior research, I knew that, but it didn't verify that in the book. When we didn't have time to finish an exhibit, we went back the next day to see it again. All in all, we really enjoyed the attractions we visited. There was a good number available, and if you are an active person, willing to start early and go all day, this card is definitely worth it. If you want to take your time, you won't be able to see enough to break even on the value. The card is only valid from 9-5:30 (some attractions are also closed for the winter), and they are not always close together. You have to be fairly high energy, but it's generally worth it.

Great Buy
By Trying to see 50 states by 2012 from Central Ohio on 8/3/2010

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

We have purchased these gocards at several different cities. Look over the attractions first to see if it fits your interests. It requires some planning ahead of time. Try to see attractions by area; this is the way it is presented in the book. Your tickets have to be purchased by 05:30 pm. We purchased our Seattle Space Needle ticket in the morning and used it later that day when it cleared up. She also said we could have used it at night instead. Just know that the Space Needle lines can get long. Read over the whole book. There was a free exhibit in the book that was interesting to see: Jimi Hendrix memorial. We went on 2 Argosy boat tours which were good. The Museum of Flight is good. You get to board a Concorde & retired Air Force One. Definitely a money saver.

Great idea and value if you make it one!
By TW Verified Reviewer from Lehi, Utah on 7/31/2010

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

The Go Seattle Card is a great value if you really make an effort to go to many of the places on the card. We found ourselves trying things we may not have gone to just to help us feel like we got a better value. I would definitely recommend calculating the cost of what you really want to see and do before deciding to buy. A City Pass probably would have suited us fine, and been a little cheaper. Having said that though, we did experience a lot of fun places we may not have otherwise. The Museum of Flight is one example. It was absolutely incredible!!! We just happened to stop by on our way back to the airport and spent nearly three hours there. We could have spent even more. My husband and I loved it and so did our kids, 8 and 11. The Bug Safari was really unimpressive even though it was one of the places I actually wanted to see. The Pacific Science Center was another favorite for my kids. We spent hours there too. The Space Needle is a must. I recommend going early in the day as the lines were much shorter. Our family also enjoyed the Harbor Cruise and the Safeco Baseball Park tour. We also did the Qwest field tour, but it wasn't quite as fun. If you're into baseball, you have to take the tour. The field is amazing. The Music Experience, Science Fiction Musieum, Pacific Science Center and Space Needle can all be done in one day if you start early. They are all right at Seattle Center and are not all day activities. Overall a great purchase if you are committed to getting your money's worth.

Nice when we got 20% off our lunch in the mexican resturant in the mall. The booklet that comes with it was a great help. I would highly reccomend this card to everyone.

Need to consider before buying again
By Ma Ma from Idaho on 7/17/2010
Pros:
Save Money
Cons:
530pm cut off time
Best Uses:
For Adults
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

Can,t really do that much because of the 5.30pm cut off time. As not all attractions are located nearby each others. Rushed down all the way to another city to visit the attraction and was told that can,t used cards after 5.30pm, especially when it was not mentioned at all in booklet. After much argument, the person-in-charge then decided to give us a free ride, which we appreciated, if not the children will be very disappointed as they really looking forwards to it. Don,t understand why that there was 5.30pm cut off time when some attractions actually open till 8-11pm? Suggest to review 5.30pm cut off time so that will be more useful for family with children. If not please update booklet, so that card user will be aware of it.

Smart Destinations Response: Sorry for your dissappointment with the 5:30 cut-off. Unfortunately its necessary to allow us to offer the savings we do. It is called out repeatedly in the guidebook and on the site, but we'll review based on your feedback as we definitely don't want anyone to be surprised.

No good for WildWaves !!!
By EagleSpeaker Verified Reviewer from Seattle, WA on 7/7/2010
Pros:
Nice selection of museums
Cons:
Not accepted some places
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

Both the Go Seattle Card Guidebook and the staff that sold us the card said it was currently valid at WildWaves Theme Park (we bought it at the booth outside EMP). This was the main reason we bought the card (we're from Canada). Turns out WildWaves does not accept the Go Seattle Pass at all. So I'm standing there at the entrance with my kids all ready to go in and we're told we will all need to pay full price. Reluctantly, I fork out the cash to pay for the entire group ($215+ ... that we could barely afford after paying for the Go Seattle Cards)Thanks for nothing Go Pass ... try properly informing your staff so this doesn't happen to other families that have faith in your service.

Smart Destinations Response: Our customer service is contacting this customer to make things right. It appears that the sales location gave this customer an outdated guidebook which contained the incorrect information. We're obviously both sorry and embarrassed this happened and are rechecking the guidebook stocks at the sales locations.

Wait Until You're In the City!!!!!
By Sharon Verified Reviewer from Boston, MA on 6/17/2010
Pros:
Number of Attractions, Convenient to Use
Cons:
Expiration Clause, Customer Serv Terrible
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations Go Seattle Card:

In 2009, we were planning a family trip to Seattle and purchased five of these "GO CARDS". Due to the economy and several family issues, our trip was cancelled. (As everyone knows, the problems with the economy are affecting MANY, MANY people). Smart Destinations does not want to be bothered; the cards expire when they expire whether they are used or not. I have requested extending them out until the end of 2011 so that we can use them during the Summer of 2011 and have even offered to pay the difference in cost to no avail. I have even contacted the Attorney General's office; much to my dismay these cards are NOT considered "gift cards" by law and, therefore, they actually can expire before your first use (wherein gift cards are good for seven years). I have used these in the past (with great satisfaction), but have always waited until I was actually in the city. I suggest you do the same or end of losing close to [$]!

Smart Destinations Response: We've tried to contact Sharon after receiving an e-mail from her asking us to extend the cards. We haven't heard a response back and are continuing to try and reach her. We will of course take care of this for Sharon and are more than happy to let her use the cards in 2011.
