Included unlimited ride wristband (daytime entry) with the Go San Diego Card. Height restriction on some rides. Proceed to ticket counter inside the Roller Coaster Museum/Gift Shop. The Go San Diego Card is accepted until 5:30 pm. During all other times standard admission will apply.

I-5 S to Sea World Drive. Follow the signs to West Mission Bay Drive. I-5 N to Hwy. 8 W. Follow the signs to West Mission Bay Drive.

Public Transportation

Old Town or Mission Trolley on 'C' Street and 3rd Avenue to Old Town Transit Center. Transfer to Bus 34 or 34a to Belmont Park.

Belmont Park is San Diego’s only beachfront amusement center, and is home to the Giant Dipper, a rollercoaster built in 1925 that has since been added to the National Register of Historic Places, comprising 2,500 feet of track and thirteen heart-pounding hills and complete with a photo opportunity at the top! Ride the roller coaster over the ocean!

Belmont is a great spot to take friends or family, or a date, for the day. Bring your beach gear since it sits on a great stretch of beach in Mission Bay. Ride the coaster a few times and get some great ocean shots... there are a bunch of kiddie rides there too but if you're just visiting as adults, head over to the Wavehouse next door to watch people on the surfing simulator and grab great food and drink in front of the crashing waves. This is a fun spot for beach time for all ages.

So-so...small, but good rides...

Nice little park...their website is nice and makes it look like a major deal...it is cute, fun, but you can ride all of the rides multiple times in one hour. We were bored in three...the unlimited wristband is for rides only, and those were limited...no access to the other fun stuff.

Take advantage after SEA world to drive or take a taxi to Belmont Park. Pick up the unlimited ride bracelets.. This area is a must see. so much to do and the coaster was a total blast..fast and high drops.
