John Hancock Observatory
Skip the Line!

Take your trip to great heights at John Hancock Observatory. The adventure begins with a 40-second thrill ride up 1,000 feet in North America's fastest elevator. Even before you catch your breath, you’ll be wowed by 360-degree views from the 94th floor. You can actually see parts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Keep your experience on the edge with Chicago’s only open-air Skywalk high above the Magnificent Mile (and get to truly feel why it's called "The Windy City").

And just when you think things couldn’t get more sensational, the tower takes it to the next level with their Multi-Media Sky tour, narrated by David Schwimmer. This multimedia experience will stimulate your mind with a walk through Chicago’s history and hotspots. After taking it all in, relax in the award-winning Lavazza Espression café and share your sightseeing inspirations over a cup of this Italian favorite. Even after you elevator back to earth, you’ll still feel your head is somewhere in the Chicago clouds.

No enough flexibility in imes
By Gail Verified Reviewer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on 8/30/2010
Pros:
Great card if you want to, See sights during the day
Cons:
Can't use card at night,
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations The Hancock Observatory:

Was told to buy this card as it was a great way to see Chicago! I've been here before but the others I am travelling with haven't. Am quite disappointed that we are only able to use the card up until 5:30, as there are quite a few things we want to see at night!

Worst card ever, these people are cheats
By Mitesh Trivedi Verified Reviewer from Minneapolis, MN on 7/25/2010
Pros:
None
Cons:
Everything
Best Uses:
Zero
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations The Hancock Observatory:

This is a useless product, please stop cheating people. This card is not valid after 5:30 pm and they are not telling you lot of other things. The gray line tours that they advertise so much, is the worst in chicago. you would be better off taking a cab everytime you want to go somewhere. I am very frustrated. You will have to stand in line everywhere. There are no breezeways waiting for you to walk. you have to wait atleast 1 - 1 1/2 hour to get to JH observatory. It is a waste of money. Please do not buy these cards. I did not want to give it a rating but this website won't let me publish without a rating, so I am giving it a one star, but you please consider it to be -1.

Easy entry and great time
By KT from Connecticut on 4/22/2010
Pros:
NO LINES, Fast entry
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Smart Destinations The Hancock Observatory:

I was a little worried that the Go Chicago card might not be as easy to use as it was advertised as, but I was wrong! I didn't wait in line at all, there is a special entry area for people with GoChicago cards and it's clearly marked. We breezed right past the line and easily accessed the elevator up to the observatory. We also ate brunch there but that is not included with the card.
